A Peer Learning Resource from Art of Digital London
http://theknowledge.aodl.org.uk/

TheKnowledge is a wiki based publishing project helping cultural workers to share know-how on digital strategy. TheKnowledge promotes peer learning to help arts organisations and individual producers make intelligent and appropriate use of digital tools and platforms. It focuses equally on creative and organisational dimensions of cultural production and enables people to share their hard-earned experiences and research in a larger project of collaboration and understanding. Sections in TheKnowledge represent key topics in digital strategy at any given moment, and will be kept under review. Present topics are: Publishing, Video, Archiving, Open Source, Audio, Gaming, Community & Social Media.

Mute Publishing, co-organiser of the first Art of Digital London Salons & Surgeries series (offered to ACE London’s RFOs in 2009/10), is releasing TheKnowledge in several forms:

As a peer learning resource, TheKnowledge welcomes your ideas and research contributions. Present topics being developed are Non-corporate social media strategies (e.g. open source alternatives to Twitter and Facebook), and Crowd funding.

Join us. We run monthly meetups with The Photographers’ Gallery, restarting on June 15th:
