Based at the former Lambeth Ragged School, Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall opens its entire site for Art Night 2018 presenting three separate events:
‘In Whose Eyes’ will be open in the upper space from 6-11pm. The exhibition is presented by Practice in Dialogue, a collective of women whose work is rooted in Feminist ideology. Practice in Dialogue are: Miriam Austin, Ingrid Berthon-Moine, Cécile Emmanuelle Borra, Phoebe Collings-James, Rose Gibbs, Lora Hristova, Catherine Long, Ope Lori, Anja Olofgörs, Lauren Schneider, Martina Schumacher, and NT.
At 7pm in the yard, with Botanical cocktails available, Dafna Talmor will talk about the green spaces of Vauxhall and her collaborative project Spaceship Earth in dialogue with the Freee collective.
Spirit_Off is an experimental sound experience presented in Beaconsfield’s Arch Space from 8pm-1am featuring sound artists Ewa Justka (Oram award) and Antenes (New York City) with installation/performance by Rose Gibbs, Catherine Long, Ope Lori, Martina Schumacher, NT.
