In June 2005, Mid Pennine Arts piloted a community arts project in Pendle entitled Shopkeepers.  The aim of the project was to document and celebrate small, local businesses that have been affected by local regeneration.  The results were a series of community workshops, a film, an exhibition and a postcard pack.  Throughout the first half of 2006 this project is being rolled out to other districts.  The first district is Burnley and from 27th May there will be an exhibition of photographs on display at the Mid Pennine Gallery.

Once again this is in conjunction with Architecture week which runs from 16th - 25th June.

Later on in the year, Hyndburn and Rossendale projects will be rolled out.
