As if international students studying in the UK didn't deal with enough challenges, the UK Border Agency launched a "new" immigration system that, as their Web site states, will "ensure that only those with the right skills or the right contribution will be able to come to the United Kingdom to work and study."

An interesting chronology of events in Iceland over the last few months including reports and photos from the weekly demos, the 'hanging of a capitalist', the flag-incident at Parliament and the occupation of the Central Bank and so on. It's a bit focussed on anarchist involvement but then that's the source. A great little photo essay that gives you a flavour of the state of things in a tiny country that's seen some great radical actions and events.
