Wednesday 23 April 2008, 7pm
BRLSI, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath, £3/£2 (on the door)
Presented by Contemporary Art Talks Programme.
A forum that considers what it is that makes sound so appealing to artists and audiences? Is it the immediacy of sound and the way in which it is connected to the present moment (of hearing/listening)? Is it the different ways in which sound can access audiences that is its special appeal or is it its potential for the public participation? Has the spread of interactive gaming and digital technologies opened up more of a freeform attitude to making music / sound / noise?
