ENDURANCE is a three-day programme of screenings, performances and exhibition exploring the physical and mental limits of human endurance.

The audience will witness a selection of work that addresses notions of duration, ritual and stamina in a programme that aims to reflect the multiplicity of its concept.

Spanning four decades this international programme looks at the co-development of moving image and live art and the integral role the lens has played in the development of live art practice as both mirror and collaborator.

This international programme features moving image works by Marina Abramović, Vito Acconci, Ron Athey, Chris Burden, Stuart Brisley, He Yun Chang and Tehching Hsieh. The live art programme contains a number of new commissions alongside existing performances presented for the first time in the UK. Artists include Eitan Buchalter, Gillian Dyson, William Hunt, Kira O’Reilly, William Hunt, Joost Nieuwenburg and Marcus Young.
