Q: I am having trouble posting text on this site. How do I fix this?
A: Mac users often experience difficulties when pasting text into the Metamute text editor. To avoid this bug, please paste your text into an offline text editor (eg Text Edit, BB Edit, etc), then re-paste from that into the Metamute text editor. Write all your comments and other details into this offline text before pasting.
Neither Firefox nor Internet Explorer work reliably with this site, so please use Safari or Camino.
Q: I pasted an entry into the Calendar for an event lasting more than one day and now it is all over the calendar. How do I stop this plague?
A: Just give the start and end date for the event (eg Jan 2nd - 22nd) in the title of the event and when selecting its start and end date in the menu, give it the same start and end date (eg an event starting 2nd Jan ends 2nd Jan).
