Hi all
Calendar has a bug. To beat it we have to post all events as single
dates (eg a show lasting 2 weeks from 4 dec - 18 dec should be posted
as *starting and ending on the 4th*.
If its an art show with an opening best thing is to posting the opening
date and times eg *3rd dec 6pm - 9pm*).
you should ALWAYS give the date/ time details for the event in the
name/title: eg 'The freeze art fair - January 3rd - October 4th 2006 -
Regent's Park';
you should also paste the whole of the PR blurb/ text - inc address
details, dates, times etc - in the body of the text. Dont be stingy,
dont be shy, spread the PR love around. If its too disgusting to use of
course you can cut it out, but then maybe if its that bad you shouldnt
be posting the event!
At the moment we have a lot of postings with no details and only urls -
this is not much use. Please try and do all the above outlined things
when posting and hopefully it will create a salubrious and inspiring
example for all our (currently rather non-existent) reader'n'
posters....
Thanks very much!!!!
Until we get a new calendar,
Ben
