'Kiss of the Beast' is a new exhibition and film program, exploring images of gorillas, wild beasts and monsters in art, film, science, literature and popular culture since the nineteenth century.  This extraordinary, large-scale exhibition features more than 100 works, from illustrated books to sculpture, paintings, prints and posters. 

The exhibition and film program is presented at the Queensland Art Gallery, Brisbane, Australia, as the premiere program of the Gallery's Australian Cinematheque.
