Hidden Curriculum looks at the unrecognized and unintended knowledge, values and beliefs that are part of the learning process in schools. It focuses on actions that go beyond existing norms and show creative and productive ways of navigating through everyday life in school. The project will be realized through a series of workshops with two groups of 16-18 year old students in which they will investigate actions that take place in school settings and transfer the outcomes of these investigations into other forms, such as public actions, video and published material. The project is open to the public during our usual opening hours. The finished outcomes of the project will be on view in the space during the final week.

Recomposing the University -
By Tiziana Terranova & Marc Bousquet
July 2004

Far removed from the clichéd image of the ‘ivory tower’, today’s universities have been opened to the harsh realities of neoliberal economics. In the name of democratisation and equality, the university has become a cross between a supermarket and a factory whose consumers are also its hyper-exploited labour force. But the conditions of mass intellectuality also create new potentials and alliances
