We Are Bad

Over the past couple of months We Are Bad's invectives against sport as class-cleansing have been appearing on the notorious blue fence that runs around the site of the London 2012 Olympic games. Mute made contact with this shadowy underground organisation and can now present the first in a series of specially commissioned posters, made available here in hi-res for home printing

I like my pathopraxis as much as the next man, but the whole fascist-body-without-organs thing feels too sick and in any case is tactically obsolete.

If this is about meaningful attempts to change the situation rather than just a scream of outrage, it would be better if we all put away Guy Debord's currently-trendy toy "Game of War", and picked up John Boyd's timeless "Patterns of Conflict."

who is the 'we' you refer to? the mute readership? is it one homogenous body without organs too?

and even though i am very criticial of the bore's relentless eurocentricity, do u really recomend that we follow the theoretical premises of a retired colonel over that of a drunken idiot? class war does not folloow the logic of imperial war. it is so outside the logic of militarism that it can appear like a driftless wander in the capoitalist world of a to z colonialism

Recomposing the University -
By Tiziana Terranova & Marc Bousquet
July 2004

Far removed from the clichéd image of the ‘ivory tower’, today’s universities have been opened to the harsh realities of neoliberal economics. In the name of democratisation and equality, the university has become a cross between a supermarket and a factory whose consumers are also its hyper-exploited labour force. But the conditions of mass intellectuality also create new potentials and alliances
